“Farmer in the House” dinner recap

Once again Arcadia Farms was so pleased to be a part of Duncan’s Trading Company’s, “Farmer in the House” dinner series this past week!  Guests were treated to a farm to table dinner prepared by our beloved chef, Carolyn Ellis, featuring gorgeous, organic vegetables from Gentleman Farmer Pat Duncan’s farm. The exquisite meal was paired with wines from the Brewer Clifton winery in California.

Each year Farmer Pat selects an elite group of chefs in the valley that adhere to cooking with his sustainable fruits and vegetables. This delightful evening also benefits the Association of Arizona Food Banks in an effort to lessen childhood hunger throughout our state.

Our dinner took place in Arcadia Farms’ charming and private courtyard across the street from our restaurant on First Avenue.

The evening commenced at Arcadia Farms Marketplace where guests sipped Langlois-Chateau Cremant de Loire Brut NV champagne and were tempted with savory appetizers before adjourning across the street.

It was immediately evident to all that we were in for a most delightful evening!

Brewer Clifton Wines were expertly paired with each course, complimenting the chef’s menu beautifully!
