Enjoy this fun and casual lunch with Ellen Straine. This 2 hour workshop includes a demonstration of pie, pie, and more pie!

Listen & learn while enjoying a variety of sweet and savory hand crafted pies and other taste treats. Ellen Straine will guide you through the steps of mixing, rolling, baking, and beautiful garnishes for your pie crust tops. Advanced tickets required.

What To Expect: Look forward to a fun and casual class led by visiting food stylist, Ellen Straine.

  • Class is 2 hours, and will be held in our La Estancia private dining room (family-style seating)

  • You will enjoy lunch, pie samplings and great conversation

  • Enjoy a selection of other crafted taste treats and refreshments throughout class

Ellen has been a food stylist since 1993. She grows vegetables, herbs, and flowers in her backyard gardens that often appear in her work. Using her experience and culinary creativity, she has styled food for advertising, cookbooks, menus, magazines, billboards, television, social media, and packaging. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband Jeff and their seven rescue dogs: Tootsie, Sparky, Stinkerbelle, Buddy, Wrigley, Angus, and Ozzy.

While we have modified our operations, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local and U.S. Government officials, to quickly adapt and take the appropriate precautions.
